Abstract
I am a 1.5 generation immigrant from South Korea who is responsible for my own family. I have encountered countless hardships because of the barrier of language. I had to catch up with people whose first languages are English. Those sometimes let me down but I soon started thinking that they make me stronger when I overcome.
